This year’s flagship line-up from Cherry Mobile is about to arrive.
The local tech giant announced that the brand new Cherry Mobile Flare S8 series is arriving on July 25, 2019.
Just like last year, we should expect three new devices to launch in the coming weeks. First, there should be the standard Flare S8 model for the sub-Php5k segment. A Flare S8 for the sub-Php6k category.
Lastly, the top-of-the-line model — the successor to last year’s Flare S7 Plus — the Flare S8 Plus that would be a midrange offering that’s expected to retail at around Php12k.
Weeks after the flagship line-up’s release, we’re also expecting to see more affordable models of the Flare S8 series. They should be the successor to last year’s Flare S7 Mini, Lite, Power, Max, and Prime.
No official word yet about the Flare S8s’ specs and features. However, it’s been said that one of them will have at least 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That’s identical to the recently announced Flare X3, which is also powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a triple camera setup on the back with a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel selfie snappers on the front.
We’ll give you more details about the Cherry Mobile Flare S8 series once they become available, so stay tuned for that.
