Coca-Cola has made a cool new machine to sell their products — the new Coca-Cola Freestyle 9100. This thing sounds so bizarre that it looks like an April Fool’s joke, but it’s not.
The Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain dispensers have existed since 2009. They never became popular here in the Philippines, but it is said to be a big deal in the US and in some other countries.
For a quick background, this Freestyle machine has a touchscreen display, which allows customers to pick mix and match around 165 drinks and different Coca-Cola products with customized flavors.
Unsurprisingly, this Coca-Cola business took off. So, the company is attempting to do a refresh with the Coca-Cola Freestyle 9100. Instead of using the built-in touchscreen on the machine, you can now utilize your own smartphone’s display.
The Coca-Cola Freestyle 9100, as nerdy as the name sounds, will try to be more contemporary as they will now have Bluetooth connectivity. This will allow you to customize your own drink via the Freestyle mobile app.
With this move, users can possibly order drinks faster as they have already chosen what to pick beforehand. You’ll just have to go to the machine, connect, and tap on the prepared order.
Coca-Cola also promised that they will always try to make this Freestyle platform updated, modern, and relevant to today’s time.
The company aims for a 2019 release date in the United States. They are also planning on updating their current 50,000 units with the new Freestyle operating system. Hopefully, being huge Coca-Cola fans, this cool Coke machine also hits the Philippine soon.
