Professional drone operators have a new toy to play with now that the DJI Inspire 3 has been announced.
The new DJI Inspire 3 is rigged with a full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K Air Gimbal Camera sensor — the lightest from the company and is paired with DJI CineCore 3.0 image processing system. It can shoot 8K 25fps in CinemaDNG, 8K 75fps in Apple ProRes RAW, and 4K 120fps ProRes RAW.

This new sensor also has support for dual native ISO at EI 800 and 4000 under 30fps for a killer low-light performance. DJI also said that it has a dynamic range of 14+ stops.
For accurate colors and skin tones, the new sensor has DJI Cinema Color System. For lenses, it supports DJI DL mount.

The sensor is attached to a newly redesigned and lightweight body, which holds the sensors, positioning antenna, storage card, and the FPB camera that’s used for the operator to see.
Speaking of which, the said FPV camera has a 161-degree field-of-view and uses a 1/1.8-inch night vision sensor with a 1080p resolution at 60fps.

The new Inspire 3 has a transmission range of 15km with one controller and 12km in dual-control mode. The live feed has a 1080p 60fps feed with a 90ms latency.
In the box, the Inspire 3 comes with a DJI RC Plus controller that has a 7-inch 1200-nit display that lasts for 3.3 hours on a single charge, or with an extra up to 6 hours using an external WV37 battery. Meanwhile, the drone itself can last for up to 28 hours of flight time using two TB61 batteries.

The new drone also has an updated system with new Waypoint Pro options. One of them is the ability to run the same exact patterns and routed at different times to shoot a similar style.
This was made possible by the new 3 GNSS (GPS + GALILEO + BDS) positioning system. It also has new machine-learning algorithms that can track and follow a subject or object better.
Made for professional use, the new Inspire 3 has timecode sync and the ability to connect to a High-Bright Remote monitor.
The price of the new DJI Inspire 3 in the Philippines is yet to be announced. In the US, it retails for USD16,499, which is around Php900,000 when directly converted, and will be available in June.
