DJI Zenmuse XT2 — NoypiGeeks

The new release from DJI is more than just your average aerial video equipment. This time, the company partnered again with FLIR — one of the biggest names in thermal imaging cameras — and came up with the new DJI Zenmuse XT2.

The DJI Zenmuse XT2 is equipped with two cameras. There’s a 12-megapixel 4K camera that shoots in standard color, then there’s the FLIR radiometric thermal sensor that provides the thermal visualization.

It has an IP44 protection so you can use it in pretty much any condition. Meanwhile, the thermal camera has a <50MK sensitivity and 30Hz of maximum thermal frame rate.

DJI also added a slew of smarter processors that analyzes the scene in real-time. With this new feature, the app can provide a temperature alarm, can do heat tracking, and more.

The DJI Zenmuse XT2 is designed for firefighters, people in search and rescue, and for those who work in structural maintenance (i.e solar panels, energy department).

It is compatible with M200 Series and M600 Pro drones. It is operated with the DJI Pilot app, which was made purposely for the Zenmuse XT2’s special features.

DJI hasn’t revealed the official pricing of their new camera. But since it is an enterprise-focused product, you can order it directly from the company.
