Home Credit allowed Filipinos to get their dream gadgets, appliances, and other products without the need of being tied down by the traditional, bank-operated credit card system.

But now, the non-bank financing company is stepping it up by issuing actual credit cards. Home Credit has just been given the approval and go signal by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) that allows them to offer credit cards to their clients.

With the actual credit card on hand, you can now purchase anything, at any stores that accept Visa cards, using Home Credit’s services more conveniently.

All your purchases (minimum of Php3k) can be converted to installment plans at low-interest rates. You can also avail the usual 0% installment plans at Home Credit’s partner stores and brands. A Cash Advance service is also available.

Just like your traditional credit cards, you can also enjoy different rewards and rebates. Home Credit is calling it the Smile Rewards Program, which can earn you different discounts and freebies.

The application is pretty much identical to Home Credit’s usual loan services. You can call their hotline at (02)753-5714, or visit their partner stores nationwide.

Once you have the card, you then need to activate it yourself. More details about this step in the video above.
