As we reported last week, HONOR is set to make its comeback in the Philippines. To make it official, the Chinese technology brand inked a deal with Iridium Technologies as its local partner.

Ricky Sy, President of Iridium Technologies, and Daniel Wang, Director of Channel Management Department of Honor, signed the partnership contract in front of the media.

With over 15 years of experience in the field, Iridium Technologies will help HONOR penetrate the Philippine tech market in both online and offline channels. The local company also worked with brands like Nokia, BlackBerry, and Samsung.

In 2020, Huawei sold HONOR to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd, a consortium which consists of more than 30 dealers and agents. Within 2 years, HONOR managed to dominate in China and expanded to over 100 markets worldwide.

No information yet on which HONOR devices will make its way to PH, but the company noted that its entire product line of mobile, PC, and other smart devices will be included.
