Huawei is really hyping up the upcoming launch of its new Mate 20 series.
In a new set of videos, the company has shown teasers regarding the HiSilicon Kirin 980 7nm SoC that will be used in both the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Compared to Apple’s A12 Bionic chipset, Huawei says that it smokes the Cupertino company’s latest creation in terms of performance.

A leaked AnTuTu score screenshot is also out, and it seems like it’s supporting Huawei’s bold claim. The result is definitely impressive, as it got a whopping 313,561 score on the popular benchmark test.

When compared against Qualcomm’s current flagship, it’s better by over 20,000 AnTuTu points. Thanks to its 7nm manufacturing technology, Kirin 980 was able to improve both the power efficiency and processing prowess.
We’re just several days away from the official launch of the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, so let’s just wait and see what they have prepared for us.
