Are you looking for a sleek and compact laptop without breaking the bank? You might want to check out the new Huawei MateBook D 15.

Recently launched in the Philippines, the Huawei MateBook D 15 has a 15.6-inch FHD+ IPS screen with ultra-thin bezels. Constructed with metal, this one is only 16.9mm thick and weighs 1.53kg. You can easily throw it inside your school bag or take it to work every day.

Under the hood, there’s an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU that can handle basic workloads. From assignments, projects, and probably minor photo and video editing. It’s coupled with 8GB of RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, and a generous 1TB of HDD.

If you’re into gaming, the AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics shall handle basic and some triple-A titles just fine. Just don’t expect crazy graphics performance out of this thing.

Huawei is attempting to create an ecosystem of products that works seamlessly with each other. With Huawei Share, you can easily transfer files from your Mate 30 Pro, or any compatible devices, to the Huawei MateBood D 15 by simply placing the smartphone on top of it.

It also has an ultra-fast 65W USB Type-C charger. Besides getting a 53% charge in just 30 minutes, you can use it to charge your smartphone or have fast data transfer on your laptop.

Huawei also prioritizes security and privacy with the MateBook D 15. It comes with a fingerprint scanner for secure and faster login. Plus, a retractable webcam that sits flush on the keyboard, so rest assured that no one is spying you.

MacBook Pro users will envy the ports selection on the MateBook D 15.  It has two USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the right. On the left side, we have a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, a full-size USB 3.0 and HDMI.

All of those features come with a very reasonable price tag. The Huawei MateBook D 15 has a price of only Php37,990. If that’s not enough, you can get up to Php18,460 worth of freebies when you pre-order the device at Lazada, Shopee, Abenson, and Silicon Valley from February 4 – 14, 2020.

It includes items like a Huawei wireless mouse, backpack, and even a Huawei MediaPad T3 tablet that costs Php6,490.
