We’re in Malaysia to witness HUAWEI’s big event, where it introduced a couple of new products to the global stage. One of them is its latest high-end, ultra-thin laptop, the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2024.
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2024 comes with a lot of powerful specs and features packed inside a body that’s only 13.7mm thin and incredibly lightweight at only 980g.

You can get the new MateBook X Pro with a powerful Intel Ultra 7 or Ultra 9 CPU, with an option between 16GB and 32GB for some hardcore multitasking, 1TB or 2TB of SSD for all your files, and an Intel Arc GPU for fast renders and casual gaming.
For the full flagship experience, this machine boasts a large 14.2-inch colorful OLED panel with a sharp 3K resolution (3120 x 2080 pixels), with a buttery smooth 120hz refresh, 1000-nits peak brightness, 3:2 aspect ratio, and calibrated colors for photo and video editors.

Audio is provided by the six speakers in a stereo setup, and for professional video calls, it is rigged with four microphones and a sharp 1080p webcam with a privacy switch.
HUAWEI also included a large 70Wh battery with a speedy 140W USB-C charger that can already provide three hours of use in just 10 minutes of charge.

Connectivity is handled by the dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, and two high-speed Thunderbolt 4 ports that are good for data transfers and external displays.
The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2024 Ultra 7/16GB/1TB model is available in Malaysia for MYR8,999 (~Php110,000) while the Ultra 9/32GB/2TB retails for MYR10,999 (~Php134,400). Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
