A new 5G phone from Huawei is about to arrive in the Philippines.
Just recently, the company’s local arm announced that the Huawei Nova 7 5G will launch in the Philippines on July 30, 2020, Thursday, via a live stream event happening at 2PM. Huawei is also releasing the Freebuds 3i TWS earphones on the same day.
Considering its specs and features, we expect the Nova 7 5G to be more expensive than the Nova 7 SE 5G, which is available in the Philippines for Php19,990. It should be in the Php23,000 to Php25,000 price range.
The Nova 7 is powered by a Kirin 985 985 octa-core processor, which brings its 5G and Bluetooth connectivity and flagship-like performance. It also comes with a large 6.53-inch OLED screen, 8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery, and a 40W Huawei SuperCharge that we have on high-end devices like the P40 Pro.
A 32-megapixel selfie camera is placed on a punch-hole on the screen. We also have a quad-camera setup on the back led by a 64-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel telephoto lens that can do up to 3x of optical zoom.
We’ll have the local pricing and availability details of the Huawei Nova 7 5G on the 30th so stay tuned for that.
