The iPad Mini has finally been officially announced and as everyone else expected, it was pitted against the hottest android tablet in town – Google Nexus 7. The new iPad Mini doesn’t really have power specs like the Nexus 7 but it managed to excel in some key aspects of the tablet arena. It is noticeably larger to Nexus 7 by 0.9-inch which can possibly turn some heads around due to the slightly bigger display.
The iPad Mini will be mostly powered by the similar components found on iPhone 4S. It features a Dual-Core A5 processor while the Nexus 7 carries a Quad-Core Tegra 3 chip. There is no mention on the RAM of the device but we expect it to be 512MB since the iPhone 5 only has a 1GB of it. For a full comparison of the specifications, check out the table below.
