We’re already in the 12th iteration of the iPhone and Apple still hasn’t fixed their smartphones’ biggest problem — the battery.

While they are still trying to figure out how to improve the iPhones’ battery, the company is offering a temporary solution with their latest accessory. The new iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR Smart Battery Case will increase your device’s battery, while also protecting it from damage.

Apple didn’t disclose the actual battery capacity that comes with it, but they do claim that the cases can provide up to 39 hours of talk time and 22 hours of internet use.

The cases itself are made from a silicone exterior with microfiber lining on the inside. Apple also improved the case’s design by having the battery stick out up to the edges, rather than only having it in the middle like the previous iterations.

Apple’s latest cases will connect to your new iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR via the Lightning port. Just like the iPhone itself, it is compatible with Qi wireless chargers and can be refueled faster via USB-PD compatible chargers.

The cases are only available in White and Black and will retail for USD129 (~6,800). It’s official pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be known so stay tuned for that.
