A popular online seller of cameras and photography gear has just made a big leap into the real world. JG Superstore, known for selling on Lazada and Shopee, has opened its very first physical store at SM City North EDSA.
The new shop is on the third floor of the mall’s Annex building. The company claims it is now the biggest camera store in the Philippines. Inside, shoppers can find brands like Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, and DJI. The store sells cameras, video gear, and tools for content creators.
Before this move, JG Superstore only existed online. But the company wanted to give people a chance to try products before buying. The new store lets customers touch and test the equipment. They can also ask for advice and see live product demos.
The store is not just about selling things. It also has a learning area called JG Academy. Here, the company will run workshops on photography, videography, and making content. Working professionals will teach the classes. Both newbies and seasoned creators are welcome.
For those looking to upgrade, the store offers a trade-in program. People can bring in their old cameras and get credit toward new ones. There is also a second-hand section where shoppers can buy pre-owned gear at lower prices.
