OnePlus introduced a couple of interesting mobile technologies at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.

One of them is a big update on the OnePlus 11 5G. Their current flagship, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset, now has hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

For those who are not familiar, ray tracing is a graphics technology we only used to see on high-end laptops and gaming PCs. Now, it can also be found on mobile phones.

Ray tracing can make games look more visually realistic, as it can simulate real-time lighting effects.

To better understand how it works, OnePlus teamed up with Perfect World Games to demo the device’s ray tracing capabilities while playing Tower of Fantasy.

During the said event, the company also unveiled the OnePlus 11 Concept, which showcases the brand’s new Active CryoFlux technology.
