HONOR finally has a foldable phone for the global market with the Magic Vs.
The HONOR Magic Vs was first introduced in China back in November. Compared to its predecessor, this one is much thinner, lighter, and more powerful.
It boasts a large 7.9-inch foldable OLED panel as the main display. While on the outside, there’s a more compact 6.45-inch OLED panel for lighter and day-to-day tasks.
Speaking of tasks, the Magic Vs is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, with a 5,000mAh battery and 66W fast charging.
HONOR also boasts the device’s new Super-light Gearless Hinge, which allowed it to achieve that thinness that it has. It’s also durable after being tested for up to 400,00 folds. This means that it can last for up to 10 years at 100 folds per day.
It’s also quite the photography machine, too. It boasts a 54-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
Of course, it will run on the latest Android 13-based MagicOS 7 with special features to take advantage of its unique form factor for better multitasking.
The HONOR Magic Vs was globally launched at MWC 2023 together with the new Magic 5 series. It’s already confirmed to arrive in the Philippines with an official date and price yet to be announced.
