oppo r15 Plus

We already know how the upcoming OPPO R15 would look like. And if you haven’t following the news, it will have that iPhone X look thanks to the notch on top. With this newly leaked information, we now have an idea on the device’s full specs.

According to the report, OPPO will be ditching the “Plus” branding for this new model. Instead, what we are getting here are the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition.

Since it is no longer a “Plus” variant, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition will have the same screen size with the regular R15. Both will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 pixel resolution.

The two will also share the same Android 8.1 Oreo and ColorOS 5.0 operating system. They will also come with a generous 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. And if you’re wondering, it is in the chipsets, cameras, and batteries where the main differences can be found.

The OPPO R15 is going to come with the new MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. It is clocked in at 2.0GHz and it will come with a dual-core AI processor. It is also expected to be equipped with a 16-megapixel (F/1.7) wide-angle camera and a secondary 5-megapixel (f/2.2) depth-sensing camera. As always, there’s the VOOC fast-charge support to juice up the 3450mAh battery.

On the other hand, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition will come with a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 processor with a single core AI chip. It will also have a better dual-camera setup with a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensor each. Powering it up is a slightly smaller 3400mAh, also with VOOC support.

Both the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition are expected to be unveiled any day now. And judging by the OPPO R-series history, we might not be able to get our hands on it here in the Philippines.

This is probably why the rumored OPPO F7 is in existence. For what we know so far, the OPPO F7 has an identical iPhone X-like notch and a 25-megapixel selfie camera. We’re pretty that’s what we’re going to get here in the Philippines.
