After almost two years, POCO is finally coming back to the Philippines.
Just recently, Xiaomi’s POCO brand have put up its official Facebook page for the Philippines. Their first post? A teaser that says “POCO is waking up!” with the hashtag: POCOPH. That’s the same phrase they used when POCO Global was teasing the announcement of the POCO F2 Pro.
This means that we’re finally getting a much-awaited successor to the blockbuster Pocophone F1 from 2018.
Much like the F1, the POCO F2 Pro brags a flagship processor at an affordable price. This time, it has the latest Snapdragon 865 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It also brags a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen and a 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It also has a high-end set of cameras, starting with an optically stabilized 64-megapixel main sensor and a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie snapper. You can check its full specs list and features for more details.
We’ve already seen the F2 Pro available for order in Lazada Philippines via a third-party reseller a few weeks ago. But, getting it from Xiaomi Philippines directly should entitle you to better after-sales support and freebies. Albeit, they yet to be provide the official release date.
