Smartphone brands are in a race to come up with the fastest charging speed ever. It feels like yesterday when they broke the 100W mark, then came the 200W chargers, and now, realme has beaten everyone with its 320W SuperSonic Charge technology.
As per the company, the realme 320W SuperSonic Charge can fully charge a smartphone in under 5 minutes, or 4 minutes and 30 seconds to be exact. A one-minute charge already provides 26% and 50% in just 2 minutes.

realme marginally beat Redmi’s 300W fast charging that was introduced back in February.
Digging in further, realme is calling its 320W power adapter “Pocket Cannon”, which has a power density of 3.3W/cm3 while retaining the similar size of realme’s 240W adapter.
It also works with other, slower charging standards: UFCS (up to 320W), SuperVOOC (realme, OPPO, OnePlus), and PowerDelivery (PD). The adapter also features two USB-C ports that can charge realme phones up to 150W and compatible laptops up to 65W at the same time.
realme has also introduced its AirGap Voltage Transformer that has a contact-free electromagnetic conversion that ensures high voltage stays isolated from the battery during faults like circuit breakdown.
Working with the 320W SuperSonic Charge, AirGap is a transformer smaller than a fingertip and ensures safe charging at such high speeds.
Lastly, realme also showcased its 4,420mAh folded battery that has four cells, all are less than 3mm thick, and increases the battery capacity to 10% than traditional designs. This may also hint at an upcoming realme foldable phone from the company.
