Xiaomi’s ever-so-popular midrange line, the Redmi Note series, has gotten a refresh for 2022. Meet the new Redmi Note 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Plus.
Let’s start with the more interesting ones. The new Redmi Note 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus are essentially the same. They are both powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processors, has 120Hz OLED screens, and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The duo also boasts the standard 5,000mAh battery and runs on an Android 12 interface with MIUI 13 on top.
So, what makes the Plus version special? First, the Plus version has ultra-fast 120W fast charging while the Note 12 Pro comes with a 67W capacity.

Moreover, the Note 12 Pro Plus boasts a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HPX sensor, the sharpest camera you can get on any smartphone right now, and similar to what the Infinix Zero Ultra, Edge 30 Ultra, and 12T Pro. It uses a 16-to-1 pixel binning, QPD autofocus, 14-bit color, HDR, 8K video recording and 120fps slow-mo at 4K.
Meanwhile, the Note 12 Pro has a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor with OIS. The duo then shares the same 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 16-megapixel shooter for selfies.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro is available in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB variants for CNY1,699 (~Php13,600), CNY1,799 (~Php14,400), CNY1,999 (~Php16,000), and CNY2,199 (~Php17,600), respectively.
Meanwhile, the Note 12 Pro is available in 8GB/256GB for CNY2,199 (~Php17,600) and 12GB/256GB for CNY2,399 (~Php19,200). Both models will be available starting November 1 in China. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.

Like its bigger brothers, Xiaomi rigged the vanilla Redmi Note 12 has a similar 120Hz OLED screen and a 5,000mAh battery. Only this time, it only has a 33W fast charging, 48-megapixel rear camera without ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel camera in the front.
It is also powered by a budget-friendly Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, which you can only pair with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Redmi Note 12 is available in 4GB/128GB for CNY1,199 (~Php9,600), 6GB/128GB for CNY1,299 (~Php10,400), 8GB/128GB for CNY1,499 (~Php11,900), 8GB/256GB for CNY1,699 (~Php13,600). Like its brothers, it will be available in China come November 1.
