Redmi-Note-7-stunts

The recently released Redmi Note 7 has been making quite a good start with promotional videos highlighting one of its intriguing features: the phone’s durability.

Powered by the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, a screen size of 6.3-inches, and 48-megapixel camera; the company boasts the Redmi Note 7‘s Gorilla Glass 5 protection from video clips showing the smartphone being used as a chopping board, smashing up walnuts, stepped at, and now, the latest ‘challenge’ depicts the smartphone crushed and getting crushed by massive fruits like watermelon and durian.

In the videos, Redmi’s brand new CEO, Lu Wei Bing, knocks the Note 7 repeatedly on a whole watermelon which, after a few, strong beating, splits open.

On a second (separate) video, Lu can be seen dropping a durian on the Redmi Note 7 in which the fruit was crushed open by the impact. At the end of the videos, however, it could be seen that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 endured the process and carries on like nothing happened.

This one is a strong phone, indeed, but we suggest that you don’t try this with your phone even if you do have the Redmi Note 7. You wouldn’t want to see it get battered, would you?
