The time has finally come. After the long wait, you can now get the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the Philippines.
Officially announced last month, the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ picked up where the Galaxy S8 left off and brought subtle but important improvements to the Galaxy S line.
The Galaxy S9’s tagline is “Camera. Reimagined”. This clearly pertains to the camera improvements that these smartphones have. Both devices has a 12-megapixel dual-pixel sensor and a whopping 960fps slow-motion capture capability.
To differentiate the S9 from the S9+, the latter was equipped with a secondary 12-megapixel wide-angle camera at the back.
The Galaxy S9+ also has a larger 6.2-inch screen while the former is a bit smaller at 5.8-inches. Both have a QHD+ Super AMOLED panel.
The new Galaxy S9 retails for a starting price of Php45,990 while the Galaxy S9+ begins at Php45,990. They are available nationwide on Samsung stores, kiosks, and authorized resellers starting today. For other variants and 6GB + 128GB configuration, check out the complete pricing information here.
