Starmobile has announced the new Engage 7i, an Android tablet powered by Intel’s SoFIA chip.

To be specific, the SoFIA chip that’s running under the Engage 7i’s hood is the Intel Atom X3 (C3230RK), which features four 64-bit cores clocked at 1GHz and Mali-450 MP4 graphics. The tablet further offers 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and the typical connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11n, HSPA+ and Bluetooth. And it’s more than just a tablet; despite having a large 7-inch IPS display with a 1024-by-600 resolution, the Engage 7i also functions as a phone and accepts two regular SIM cards. Its 3000mAh battery promises up to 10 hours of talk time.
