Instant messaging platform Telegram has introduced Affiliate Programs for content creators and mini-app developers to simplify how they make money while growing their user base.
The new Telegram Affiliate Programs comes out after the release of Mini Apps 2.0. The company highlights how the programs have transparent promotions for influencers and their audiences, with terms that can be easily verified.
Influencers can join Affiliate Programs launched by the app developers to start earning Stars. Choose from the available programs, save the unique referral link, and start sharing it.
Influencers will then earn a commission when a user uses their referral link to access a mini app and purchase using Stars. They will continue earning throughout the program’s duration.
Telegram highlights that the commissions will be credited to your balance in real time. You can then use the Stars to purchase items, send gifts, and unlock media content from different Telegram channels.
You can set up the Affiliate Program on your own, right within the app.
What’s more, Telegram also launched a new AI-powered sticker search that works with multiple languages. The improved search feature can also be used in emojis for premium users.
Telegram also added a collage feature to its Stories so users can combine images using different layouts.
These new Telegram updates are being rolled out to select beta users across different platforms.
