Toshiba has unleashed its—and the world’s—fastest microSD card. How fast is it? The 32GB version is capable of reaching up to 260MB/s read and 240MB/s write.

The 64GB version, on the other hand, can go as fast as 145MB/s read and 130MB/s write. Both versions are categorized under UHS Speed Class 3, a level of which is capable of recording 4K2K video, live broadcast, and content on high-end cameras. The incredibly fast transfer speeds should also significantly reduce the time needed for downloading high-definition movies and music files.
