Vivo Philippines is expanding their online store presence as they partner with Shopee and Akulaku. Two of the emerging e-commerce platform in the country.
On the Vivo X21 launch event held in Okada Manila, Vivo execs and representatives from both Shopee Philippines and Akulaku have exchanged tokens to commemorate this new partnership between their own respective brands.
This means that you can now score Vivo smartphones, including the new Vivo X21, from these online malls. We also spotted their midrange smartphone — the Vivo V9 — on there. As well as the entry-level ones like the Vivo Y71.
But for those who are unfamiliar, Shopee is basically an online shopping mall were users can easily buy or sell products of their own. A lot of small businesses have put up stores on this website due to its ease of use and by how customers can easily communicate with the actual sellers.
On the other hand, Akulaku pretty much has the same format. However, they allow customers to pay in installment plans. This payment feature is handled by Akulaku themselves, so there’s no credit card or third-party loan company involved.
With this move, Vivo fans have more chance to conveniently purchase Vivo smartphones from the comfort of their own homes.
Who the heck buys Vivo and Oppo’s overpriced products when you can buy Xiaomi?
