Xiaomi Phillippines has announced a surprising price drop for two of their newest midrange smartphones.
In a Facebook post, the company has revealed that they are dropping Php1,000 off from the SRP of the 4GB/64GB versions of the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite. In addition, the base model of the Mi A2 Lite is now Php500 cheaper at Php9,490, coming from its original price of Php9,990.
- Xiaomi Mi A2 4GB + 64GB — Php13,990
- Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite 3GB + 32GB — Php9,490
- Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite 4GB + 64GB — Php10,990
The two phones are less than a month old, so we’re not really sure why they are giving discounts already. But if we are to guess, we’d say that it’s probably because of the heavy competition in the midrange smartphone market, especially with the recent entry of the Huawei Nova 3i and Honor Play.
Anyway, it’s a win for consumers, so we’re good with any and all price drops.
Hey! Great article, would you also know where could I buy one?
Really like the stock android feel. Thank you
Hi! It’s now available authorized Mi stores in SM Megamall and TriNoma. Thank you :-)
