A few days ago, ASUS posted a teaser of their upcoming midrange smartphone. And now, a leak has just come out that reveals a few key details about the said device.
Apparently, ASUS will be releasing two new devices — the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 and Pro M2. And besides the detailed renders, the leak also spills the key specifications that these devices have.

The standard Zenfone Max M2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, with the base model coming with 4GB of RAM. It will also have a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixel, and a 19:5:9 aspect ratio that was made possible by the notch on top.
On the other hand, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will come with a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It will also start with 4GB of RAM and will have a 6-inch FHD+ screen.

There is no information yet about the Zenfone Max M2’s camera system, although the Pro version is expected to come with a 12-megapixel shooter with an accompanying 5-megapixel sensor.
Being the more premium option, the renders reveal that it will have a shinier back panel. While the cheaper option might inherit the looks of its predecessors.
The leak also didn’t reveal the battery that both of the devices will have, which is actually one of the biggest features of this particular ASUS line-up.
ASUS is expected to unveil the Zenfone Max M2 and Max Pro M2 on December 11.
