The Apple rumor mill just keeps rolling. Since everything about the new iPhones is out in the open now, the focus has shifted towards the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2. Apple’s tablets are expected to be unveiled next month, with notable changes to reignite their wow factor to consumers.
If the success of the new iPhones is any indication, the upcoming Apple iPads will arrive with similar features.
- A Chinese website, DoNews, has leaked photos of a gold-fashioned iPad mini. One photo also shows the security-centric TouchID fingerprint sensor also appearing in the device.
- Sonny Dickson—you know, that Australian dude with fairly accurate leaks when it comes to Apple devices—reckons that both the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 will employ the new A7 chip and its 64-bit architecture.
- The larger iPad is expected to sport 2GB RAM while its smaller brother will only come with just 1GB RAM.
- While rumors are still aplenty about Retina display coming to the iPad mini, some solid proofs have yet to surface to bolster such claim.
In any case, the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 seems appealing when bathed in gold. Expect them to be sold like there’s no tomorrow.
