New Nokia smartphones leaked video

It looks like Nokia is really at full steam ahead this 2017.

HMD Global, the current company that has the license to make Nokia devices, announced that they will be releasing seven smartphones this year. We have already seen the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 but it seems like they still have two more models that will soon join Nokia’s new portfolio of handsets.

Evan Blass a.k.a @evleaks, one of the well-known source of gadget leaks, discovered a short video on Vimeo of what looks like an unpublished ad from Nokia. The video was said to be uploaded by a longtime brand photographer from Nokia, who is now working for HMD Global. Naturally, the clip was taken down immediately, but Evan Blass was able to grab a copy and posted it on his Twitter account.

The short ad showcases four smartphones, with two of them already made official. The two smartphones at the right are obviously the Nokia 3 and 5, which were launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year together with the refreshed Nokia 3310.

However, the devices on the other side look unfamiliar. Based on the report, the product shown on the leftmost of the frame could possibly be the Nokia 9, which has been rumored for quite some time now. If you look closely, it sports two cameras at the back suggesting that it could be Nokia’s possible flagship device.

Going to the other mystery device, it is said that it could possibly be the Nokia 8, a midrange smartphone. It can also be the Nokia 7 which is said to be a lower-end model. Both of these devices are also part of the rumor mill that’s been going around.

As what we have said earlier, HMD Global promised that they will be releasing quite a lot of Nokia smartphones this year. With that, we can expect these devices to be officially announced in the next couple of months.

These rumored devices look really exciting considering how well-received the Nokia 6 was.

A lot of people praised how Nokia was able to create a good Android smartphone even though they’ve been out for a while. And with that, we are expecting nothing less from Nokia and HMD Global.
