OPPO F3 Sold 22,000 units first 3 days Philippines - NoypiGeeks

It looks like the dual selfie camera strategy is working really well for OPPO.

The OPPO F3, the company’s follow-up to the also successful F3 Plus, has set a new sales record. As per OPPO, it is said that they have sold more than 22,000 units of the F3 in just 3 days.

The huge figures were spearheaded by their roadshow, which was held in Glorietta, Makati City and in SM Ecoland, Davao City. The event was filled with OPPO fans, while the attendees of the Glorietta leg was able to catch actress Ella Cruz perform. The fans also had a selfie opportunity with the celebrity afterward.

OPPO F3 success

Other than the roadshow, OPPO also has more than 5,000 authorized resellers that helped them achieve this feat.

Both the OPPO F3 and F3 Plus garnered a bit of attention due to their dual cameras at the back. OPPO placed a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front and paired it with an another 8-megapixel sensor that has a wide-angle lens. The wide field of view that the other camera lets users take group pictures without having to worry that anyone will be cut from the frame. The dual camera setup also helps the device produce the “Bokeh effect” in pictures, an effect that dramatically blurs the background.

OPPO F3 record Philippines

Aside from the cameras, the OPPO F3 also features an all-metal build, a large battery, and a minimalistic packaging; characteristics that might have lured people on getting the device.

Despite costing Php16,990, Php2,000 more compared to the F1s, it feels like people didn’t really care and they bought it anyway.

The success of the OPPO F3 is a testament to the company’s growth in the country. And with that, we can expect a lot more #SelfieExpert devices from them.
