Vivo-NEX-APEX-smartphone-prices-leaked

Vivo is set to reveal the official consumer version of the APEX concept smartphone on June 12.

As we come closer to the launch, more information is starting to leak out. According to a photo from a retail store located in China, the Vivo NEX smartphone is going to cost CNY6,998 or almost $1,100 (~Php57,400).

But why would it be so expensive? Well, it is said to have a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, in-display fingerprint scanner, and almost 100% screen-to-body ratio — achieved thanks to the pop-up selfie camera hidden on the top.

The board which has hand-written notes all over it also indicates that there is going to be a cheaper variant without the retractable camera and a more modest Snapdragon 710 chipset. It is said to be priced at $780 (~Php41,000).

Vivo is already hard at work in promoting the Vivo NEX as they put up advertisements all over shopping malls in China. The company claims that the device is “out of this world” and will feature “breakthrough technologies”.

However, we have to keep in mind that this isn’t the most reliable source of all, and prices could be different when the Vivo NEX smartphone becomes official less than two weeks from now.
