Philippine telco PT&T announced that they are teaming up with Netlinkz Limited, a tech firm based in Australia, to offer broadband and network security services to businesses in the Philippines — particularly those in remote areas.
PT&T explained that the joint venture will utilize smaller, portable, and mobile satellite dishes to provide internet connectivity to hard-to-reach and underserved areas in the Philippines.
In a statement, the local telco said that enterprises in the country, especially in areas that have been “historically underserved by traditional fiber internet providers” will finally have access to high-speed and low-latency internet with enterprise-grade network security.
