Do you need prepaid data fast? Check out the new Smart Loan-A-Load feature that lets subscribers borrow load in case you need it. This is perfect for emergencies or when you’re in desperate need of an internet connection but don’t have access to a reloading station.

There are a few key prerequisites to note, though. Unlike Smart’s traditional borrow load feature, the Smart Loan-A-Load is only available for the Facebook mobile app on Android devices as the mobile center and free Facebook mode options are not present on iOS users.

The subscriber’s mobile number should also be active at least 30 days before availing a loan and there shouldn’t be an outstanding loan balance.

So, without further ado, here’s a guide on how you can avail of Smart’s Loan-A-Load feature, what promos you can borrow, how to repay the loan, and more.

How to enter Facebook Free Mode

Before you can access the Smart Loan-A-Load feature, you should first use Facebook under Free Mode. If you’ve already done the process listed below, skip to the second part of this guide.

  1. Disable WiFi, only cellular data is enabled.
  2. Open the Facebook app on your Android device.
  3. Facebook will display a prompt inviting you to use the basic mode of the app (Free Mode). This mode doesn’t require mobile data allocation, so you can use it even if you don’t have an existing prepaid load.
  4. Tap “Continue” and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

How to avail Smart Loan-A-Load

  1. Open the Facebook app under Free Mode (see steps above).
  2. On top of the screen, tap “Buy Data”.
  3. Choose the promo you want to loan. Tap “Get”.
  4. Tap “Confirm” then tap “Use Data” and you’re good to go.

What promos are available at Smart Loan-A-Load

As of writing, there are only three promos available on Smart’s new loan service:

  • Php5: 100MB open-access data for 1 day
  • Php10: 200MB open-access data for 1 day
  • Php15: 300MB open-access data for 1 day

How to pay Smart Loan-A-Load

Like the existing borrow load features, your loan will be automatically paid on your next top-up. You can also pay voluntarily or in advance by texting PAY to 7676.

Smart also notes that they allow partial payment for Php15 load loans, as long as Php5 will remain in the subscriber’s wallet upon top-up.

So, do you think the new Smart Loan-A-Load will be helpful? What promos do you want to be supported next? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

  1. I believe what you wrote made a great deal of sense.
However, consider this, suppose you added a
little information? I mean, I don’t wish to
tell you how to run your blog, however suppose you added a title that
grabbed people’s attention? I mean Smart Loan-A-Load: How
to avail, requirements, loan payment | NoypiGeeks is kinda
boring. You ought to peek at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create article titles to get viewers to open the links.

You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab
people excited about everything’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
