Sometimes, our friends and family may find themselves in a bind and they need mobile data immediately. Or maybe, they only need a few MBs of mobile data and don’t want to subscribe to a full promo. If only there was a way to quickly and easily share your mobile data with the ones you care about.

Fortunately for Smart and TNT users, you can now easily send your unused MBs with your friends and loved ones through the PasaData feature. Read on to learn how you can share your mobile data with Smart PasaData.

What is PasaData?

Most of us are already familiar with Smart PasaLoad, which allows Smart and TNT users to share their mobile load with fellow Smart users. Smart PasaData follows the same concept where Smart and TNT users can share a portion of their promo’s MBs to their friends and family.

Not all mobile data promos are compatible with PasaData. PasaData requires that your promo must have what is called shareable data so that you can send and share your MBs.

How To Share Data for Smart and TNT Users

Sharing your mobile data with your loved ones is as easy as sending one text message. First, make sure that you are subscribed to a promo with shareable data like GIGA or ALL DATA promos.

Next, send a text message following the format:

  • PASADATA<space>11-digit mobile number<space>Amount in MB

And send the message to 808.

  • For example: PASADATA 09012345678 300MB, then send to 808.

The minimum amount of MB you can send is 50 MB. You will be charged Php1 for the transaction.

  1. What happens if SMART Shareable Data is not shared? Will it be added to my daily allocated regular usable data? For instance, in GIGA POWER 499, will I lose the 24GB shareable data if I don’t share it, or will I be able to use it together with the allocated 2GB X 30 DAYS for all sites and apps?
