Amazon thinks highly of its new Kindle Fire HDX, which the company is claiming to be even better than Apple’s iPad Air. As shown in their latest ad, this Amazon slate comes packing more pixels, lighter weight, and a more affordable price.
When you do compare both the Kindle Fire HDX and iPad Air in those three aspects, the former is indeed superior to the latter. The 8.9-inch variant of the HDX offers 2560×1600 resolution, weighs 374g, and is priced at $379. The iPad Air, on the other hand, only comes with a 2048×1536 display, is 478g heavy, and sets customers back $499.
Is the Kindle Fire HDX really the better choice over the iPad Air? What do you think?
