Just a few days after Xiaomi launched the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in Europe, the Chinese tech brand unveiled another true wireless stereo (TWS). This time, it has a longer battery life and improved bluetooth feature.
The new Xiaomi Mi Air 2S TWS comes with a dual-core processor and a binaural synchronous transmission technology. With this, sound transmission happens simultaneously in both earphones. Moreover, it also has a fully optimized Low latency and High-Definition (LHDC) audio technology for better sound quality. The device also uses MIUI and supports Bluetooth 5.0.
One of the main selling points of the Xiaomi Mi Air 2S TWS is its long battery life. According to the brand, it may last up to 5 hours usage in a single charge but may extend up to 24 hours when placed in the charging case. What’s even better is that the charging box has a Qi-standard wireless charging technology.

Another interesting take of the Xiaomi Mi Air 2S TWS is the voice assistant XiaoAI. It activates through simple voice command and may do simple functions such as playing music, opening maps, and other similar tasks.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have noise canceling function like other more expensive TWS in the market. However, it comes with a dual-microphone noise reduction technology which may lessen the noise during calls.
The Xiaomi Mi Air 2S TWS is only available in China and retails for a price of CNY399 (~Php2,950). There is no word whether the it will be available in the Philippines.
