Alongside the new iPhone 15 series, the Cupertino-based tech giant has announced its latest flagship smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 9.
The new Apple Watch Series 9 has tons of new features, but there’s one thing that really improves how you interact with it. The Double Tap features lets you drop calls, stop the alarm, and a whole lot more just by tapping your two fingers. The built-in sensors and the new neural engine helps detect such taps.
It is powered by the new S9 SIP that’s 60% faster than its predecessor in terms of CPU and 30% in GPU. It enables makes Siri requests faster and more secure as such tasks are now done locally.
The screen was also improved for outdoor visibility and can get as bright as 2000 nits. There’s also the new HomePod integration, precision finding for iPhone, new cycling features, crash detection, and fast charging.
Apple also highlighted the device’s eco-friendly hardware. There’s the new FineWoven band that uses 68% post-consumer recycled content.
The Apple Watch Series 9 is already listed on the company’s official website with the prices below. The website says it supports Globe Telecom for the cellular option.
