Realme has introduced the Band 2 and unlike the name suggests, it looks more like an actual smartwatch than your traditional smart band.
The new Realme Band 2 now has a larger 1.4-inch colored touch screen. It offers 500-nits of brightness for better outdoor visibility and 167 x 320 pixel resolution for acceptable sharpness.
You can choose from 50 different dial faces that displays different information in color.
Like a lot of werables, health and activity tracking is one of its main features. It has a power-efficient GH3011 sensor for continuous heart-rate monitoring.
Blood Oxygen Monitoring is also available as well as Sleep Quality Analysis.
Those who have an active lifestyle can take advantage of its 90 sports mode, which can track pretty much any workout or sports you’re into. You can even go swimming with it as it’s water-resistant up to 50 meters.
As per the company, the Realme Band 2 can last for 12-days and charges via the proprietary magnetic charger.
Typical smartwatch features like notifications, alarm, music control, camera trigger, stopwatch, cycle monitoring, weather, events reminder, timer, and find my phone are also here.
The band 2 pairs to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.1. IT works on Android 5.1+ and iOS 11+ devices using the Realme Link app.
Those who are in Malaysia can get the Realme Band 2 starting September 20 for a price of RM169 (around Php2,000). Release details in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
