Xiaomi-Mi-Watch

Xiaomi’s first proper smartwatch is finally here. Meet the Xiaomi Mi Watch.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way first. The Xiaomi Mi Watch looks very identical to the Apple Watch. It features a boxy 1.78-inch AMOLED screen with an always-on feature, inside a 44mm ceramic or stainless steel body.

There’s a digital crown on the left side, above the built-in microphone and a single button. We have another microphone on the right side, alongside the loudspeakers.

Interface and software could easily make or break a smart device. Thankfully, it appears that Xiaomi nailed that one on the Xiaomi Mi Watch.

The device will run on Android Wear OS, with Xiaomi’s MIUI for Watch interface. MIUI is already in tons of Xiaomi smartphones worldwide. The wearable will come with more than 40 built-in apps and even has its own dedicated app store.

Of course, the Mi Watch have fitness and health-tracking features. For one, it can track your swimming performance, which means that it is also water protected enough to go to the pool. We also have a heart-rate scanner on the back to aid on all exercise and sleep tracking features.
