Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of their latest smartwatch: the Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport introduces an upgraded version of HyperOS, enhanced with algorithms developed exclusively by Suunto. These algorithms aim to support and coach training at “pro athlete” levels across six different sports. Additionally, the smartwatch includes digital car-key and NFC support, similar to Xiaomi’s new Band 9.
One of the standout features of the S4 Sport is its capability for “lactate threshold testing,” which allows users to assess their peak endurance and aerobic fitness levels. Safety features are also a priority, as it includes bad weather alerts. There’s also dual-frequency “5-star” GPS and offline maps.

The new wearable boasts a 568mAh battery and eSIM support, features that were previously hinted at in leaks leading up to the event. There’s also an AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits.
In a first for its line, the Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport is globally recognized with EN13319 certification, making it compatible for diving up to 40 meters in depth. This positions the smartwatch as a strong competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. Like the competition, the S4 Sport also features an orange accent on its physical crown, adding a distinctive touch.
The smartwatch is built with premium materials, including a titanium finish for its case and Milanese strap, available in the high-end variant for 2,599 yuan (~Php20,900). For those looking for more affordable option, the S4 Sport is also offered with fluoroelastomer or vibrant orange silicone bands for 1,999 yuan (~Php16,000).
