ASUS announced a fleet of Zenfone 4 variants. One of these newest devices are the new ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro.
With this move, it looks like ASUS is targeting almost every competitor out there. There’s a Zenfone 4 for the heavy users, for the photographers, for the entertainment junkies, and of course — for the selfie lovers.
Unlike their previous attempts, ASUS is really upping their game with the ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro. The two boasts dual front-facing cameras. There’s a standard high-resolution sensor, and a second one with a 120-degree wide-angle lens — a clear shot to other handsets from the likes of OPPO and Vivo.
The two, despite being in the midrange category, still packs decent hardware. The ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie differs from the latter in some major areas. For one, it only has a 5.5-inch 720p display and it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. Lastly, it has a 20MP + 8MP dual selfie cameras.
On the other hand, the ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro has a sharper 5.5-inch 1080p panel, a faster Snapdragon 625, and 24MP + 5MP front shooters at the rear.

The ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie will be at USD279 while the ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is priced at USD379. Local pricing and availability are still unknown, but we expect it to be revealed at the August 19 event in SMX Convention Center.
