Alongside the numerous Zenfone 4 devices that were announced, we also have the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Pro — the slightly better version of the regular Zenfone 4 Max.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Pro has the same specs with the standard version. Only this time, the cameras in the front and back are upgraded to 16-megapixels. We’re not quite sure what’s ASUS’ logic behind this, or maybe there are some more details that they still have to spill. Nevertheless, having a bump in camera resolution isn’t enough to call it a “Pro” version.
But nonetheless, like I said, its spec sheet is identical to the regular variant. It will have the same 5.5-inch 720p panel, will run on a Snapdragon 430 processor, and has an extra 5-megapixel sensor at the back with a wide-angle lens.
And more importantly, it will house an extra large 5000mAh battery. The package will also come with a USB dongle that lets you turn the device into a powerbank for sharing with friends. This is its niche feature, while its other sibling has a nifty selfie shooter as its main highlight.
