ASUS Philippines is prepping a new entry-level smartphone release here in the country. While people’s attention is on the value-oriented Zenfone Max Pro M1, the company just announced the official price and release date of the ASUS Zenfone Live L1.

The said device will try to offer everything you’d need from a reliable 2018 smartphone, without breaking the bank. The ASUS Zenfone Live L1 comes with a 5.5-inch HD+ screen with an 18:8 aspect ratio as a starting point.

Furthermore, ASUS used a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor to power this thing, coupled with an acceptable 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which you can stretch up to 2TB via a microSD card.

The device also comes with a decent pair of cameras. There’s a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back, although the 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front might be a bit lackluster since the Zenfone Live L1 is marketed for those who are into doing live streaming on different social media sites.

Also, it will be nice to see an Android Go software running on this thing. But instead, we’re getting ASUS’s ZenUI 5.0 interface layering Android 8 Oreo.

But to end in a good note, the ASUS Zenfone Live L1 comes with 3000mAh battery. And depending on your usage, this thing can easily last you for a day or so.
