Cherry Mobile has a launched another smartphone for the masses. If you’re looking for an upgrade to your boring feature phone, you might want to check out the new Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite.
The Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite probably has the most humble specs around. But thanks to its Android Go Edition operating system, it can probably still deliver decent performance.
The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor. That’s the same chipset that we saw on other Android One devices like the Alcatel 1X. But to be able to drop the price even further, the Flare A2 Lite only comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage.
Unfortunately, Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite lacks 4G LTE connectivity, which is a big bummer at this point in time.
There’s a 2-megapixel camera on the front and a 5-megapixel one on the back. It also has a decent 2,000mAh battery inside to juice it up. Without a doubt, this smartphone is as basic as it gets.
