Cherry Mobile has started teasing yet another handset yesterday and although it isn’t a heavy-hitter in terms of specs, it should still be fairly popular with budget smartphone buyers. The Cherry Mobile Flare Dash, as it’s called, will retail for Php3,699 while sporting a 1.2GHz quad core MSM8212 processor from Qualcomm and should be upgradeable to KitKat 4.4 in the future.

The rest of the specs are quite decent. You’re getting a 4 inch WVGA IPS display, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and a complete set of wireless connectivity options all the way up to HSPA+. There’s no news as to when the Cherry Mobile Dash will hit store shelves, but it shouldn’t take long for the local brand to make an announcement now that they’ve officially begun teasing the phone.
