Cherry Mobile just announced two new affordable android tablets named as the Cherry Mobile Fusion Ice and Superion TV. These two are perfect for people who want to have a taste of the goodness of a 7-incher android tablet without needing to spend a huge amount of cash. Check out their specifications after the break.
The Cherry Mobile Fusion Ice will be powered by a meager 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM to get a decent but not so smooth overall performance. It also runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to further utilize its available resources and to take it to the highest level even it’s an entry-level tablet. A 1GHz single core processor will not give you the fastest performance there is, but the fact that this tab is priced at only Php3,699, it is already considerably fast for the price you’ll be getting it.
Cherry Mobile Fusion Ice Specs
- Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich
- 7-inch HD LCD Capacitive Touchscreen, 5-point touch
- 1GHz single core processor
- 512MB RAM
- 8GB internal storage, microSD up to 32GB
- Bluetooth
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g
- micro USB v2.0
- VGA camera
- Sensors: Accelerometer, Light
- Colors: Black
- Battery: 3000mAH
On the other hand, the Cherry Mobile Superion TV keeps things interesting as it includes a mobile TV feature to go along with the Android 4.0 ICS operating system. This will let you watch your favorite TV shows even your on the go or you just want to watch it in a position that you’re most comfortable with. It packs almost the same specs as the Fusion Ice but with only a few minor differences.
The Cherry Mobile Superion TV is priced at only Php5,999 but if you’ll ask me, I’d rather choose the Cherry Mobile Superion Plus Duo which costs Php6,999. With the extra Php1000, you’ll get better performance because of a dual-core 1GHz processor but please do take note that it doesn’t have mobile TV.

Anybody here who’s interested in getting these Cherry Mobile tablets? Or if you already have it, kindly share some of your experiences below to help other people make their decision.
my tablet is unlock due to many pattern attempts..
how can i recover this?
is there really a bluetooth connectivity for the fusion ice? i went to some outlets but they can’t find the bluetooth on the tablet.
how do i connect via 3G USB Broadband? Please reply po =)
Well I tried to use broadband with this what they called fusion ice and of course it didn’t work out, I wondered why their sales staff in some of their outlet told me it can be used with it, I was so disappointed when I tired connecting it… I went back to ‘ em to let ’em fix it and they took almost a day just trying to figure out how it will work, I guess they didn’t really know their product specs and just keep on bragging it will work, finally I ran out of temper and just took my money back… Such a waste of time..
I believe most tablets out there are ‘choosy’ in 3G broadbands. Maybe you have an incompatible one.
I have bought last january a cherrymobile fusion ice and another one this week, a decent tablet at an affordable price, no problems encountered yet, can play temple run and other apps on the playstore and can play HD movies as well that is saved on the sdcard, can’t save files directly in the internal storage though, using the usb cable. hope they make the internal storage accessible for saving files in it. The fusion ice has a front camera only but it takes great photos as well. And the battery life is also better
Thanks for the great share! :D
how long is the bat life?
please answer my question, may back camera po ba ito? and can i download temple run on this tablet?
may back camera po ba ito? pwede po bang magdownload ng temple run?
