Whoever said that small phones can’t be powerful ones probably haven’t met Galaxy J7 Prime’s smaller sibling, the Galaxy J5 Prime.
Identical to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime brags its small 5-inch display with 720p resolution. It has the same metallic unibody similar to the Galaxy J7 Prime. The finish gives the phone an elegant and sleek look for its size. The button and slot arrangements remain the same with the J5 Prime.
It also has a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor A53 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB. Aside from this, it also a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture (and can shoot 1080p videos) and a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture (and can shoot 720p videos) all packed in a small body powered by a 2400mAh battery.
It also has a fingerprint reader below the home button at the front side of the phone. An LED notification light is also present, located above the earpiece which will notify and blink the user when there are missed notifications or changes in the status of the battery.
The Galaxy J5 Prime currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but is expected to have an Android 7.0 update soon.
