Google has announced two new smartphones today. And unlike their predecessors, the new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL are aimed for the entry-level segment.
Both the new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL features the popular cameras (12-megapixel Sony IMX363) of the flagship Pixel 3 and 3 XL. However, as the name suggests, these two new models will offer more toned-down features for a more budget-friendly price tag.
Both models will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of non-expandable storage.
The Google Pixel 3a will have a notch-less 5.6-inch FHD+ OLED screen and a 3,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 3a XL will have a bigger 6-inch FHD+ OLED screen and an equally larger 3,700mAh battery.
To keep the price more affordable, Google swapped the Corning Gorilla Glass protection with a Dragontrail one. The overall design looks identical to its flagship models, but the build is slightly different as it uses plastic.

The Google Pixel 3a has an official retail price of USD399 (~Php20,800), while the Pixel 3a XL will be available for USD479 (~Php24,900). It will be available starting May 15 in select markets. Hopefully, it will make its way in the Philippines soon, too.
Price still high for people to but this. Yeah I know the regular Pixel 3 is double the price.
