Google has announced two new smartphones today. And unlike their predecessors, the new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL are aimed for the entry-level segment.

Both the new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL features the popular cameras (12-megapixel Sony IMX363) of the flagship Pixel 3 and 3 XL. However, as the name suggests, these two new models will offer more toned-down features for a more budget-friendly price tag.

Both models will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of non-expandable storage.

The Google Pixel 3a will have a notch-less 5.6-inch FHD+ OLED screen and a 3,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 3a XL will have a bigger 6-inch FHD+ OLED screen and an equally larger 3,700mAh battery.

To keep the price more affordable, Google swapped the Corning Gorilla Glass protection with a Dragontrail one. The overall design looks identical to its flagship models, but the build is slightly different as it uses plastic.
