Honor has officially revealed their newest 5G smartphone, the Honor X10 5G.
But despite the 5G connectivity, the Honor X10 is by no means a flagship smartphone. In fact, its setup is kinda similar to the Honor 30S, which also offers premium specs at an affordable price tag.
The Honor X10 5G is equipped with the new Kirin 820 chipset plus options of 6GB + 64GB/128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations. There’s also microSD support for storage expansion of up to 256GB.
For a phone, it has a huge 6.63-inch display with Full HD+ resolution in addition to the fast 90Hz refresh and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
On the software side, it’s running on the company’s own MagicUI 3.1.1 with Android 10. There’s also GPU Turbo as well as Kirin Gaming+ 2.0, which optimizes gaming performance and battery efficiency. And as expected, there’s no Google Mobile Services here because of the extended Huawei US ban.
In terms of cameras, the Honor X10 5G has a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter in addition to the triple camera on the back which consists of 40-megapixel primary RYYB sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel macro lens. Software features include AIS Super Night Mode, 960fos slow motion video, and portrait lighting effects.
For security purposes, the Honor X10 5G packs a more traditional side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Battery capacity is 4,300mAh and it can be filled up using its 22.5W fast charging feature.
The Honor X10 5G is now available for pre-order in China and release will be on May 26. International availability is unknown as of the moment.
