Honor has introduced two new midrange smartphones in Malaysia: the Honor X7 and X9 4G.

First, we have the Honor X7, which features a 4G-only Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor. It may lack 5G, but at least you’d be getting better longevity, especially with its 5,000mAh battery that is paired with a 22.5W SuperCharge.

While Honor has already separated from Huawei, the latter’s design influence is still present. The two camera glasses on the back looks similar to the Huawei P50 series. It houses the 48-megapixel main shooter, a low-resolution 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and two 2-megapixel sensors.

There’s an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front, sitting on top of a large 6.74-inch screen that only has an HD+ pixel resolution. On the upside, it has a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

While it’s slightly better than the X7, it’s a cheaper option than the X9 5G due to the obviously downgraded processor and slower screen.
